Return Policy
At PadTech Direct, we take pride in our 20+ years of technical experience. We test and describe our inventory as accurately as possible so you can buy with confidence. However, due to the nature of vintage electronics and collectibles, we have established the following return guidelines.
Our "Customer First" Promise
We are a small business, not a big box store. If you have an issue, please contact us first at support@padtechdirect.com. We handle requests on a case-by-case basis and will do everything possible to make things right.
7-Day Dead on Arrival (DOA) Guarantee
- Coverage: Items explicitly sold as "Working" or "Tested" are covered by our 7-Day Guarantee.
- The Policy: If a guaranteed item arrives non-functional or is significantly not as described, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.
- Resolution: We will offer a replacement (if available), a repair, or a full refund upon the return of the item.
Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
To offer you the best direct pricing, the following categories are Final Sale and are ineligible for return unless covered by the DOA Guarantee above:
- Untested / For Parts: Items listed as "Untested," "For Parts," "As-Is," or "Repair Stock" are sold with NO WARRANTY. These sales are final, with no exceptions. We cannot guarantee functionality for these items.
- Vintage Tech: Unless listed as "Tested/Working," vintage items are sold as collector’s pieces.
- Collectibles: All Trading Card Game (TCG) cards, comics, sealed media, and 3D printed items are Final Sale to preserve their condition and provenance.
Return Process
- Contact support@padtechdirect.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
- If authorized, we will provide instructions for the return.
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed defective or not as described.
- Items must be returned in the exact condition they were received.
